SHIPPING POLICY – NORA & AISLING

At Nora & Aisling, every parcel is prepared with care and attention to detail. Some orders are shipped directly from our international partner warehouses, allowing us to offer fair prices without unnecessary middlemen. Before placing an order, please review the terms below.

1) Processing & Delivery Time

⏱️ Order Processing

  • Orders are prepared within 1–3 business days.

  • Orders placed on Friday evening or during the weekend may be dispatched the following Monday.

🚚 Estimated Delivery

  • Standard delivery usually takes 8–12 business days from dispatch.

  • Delivery times may vary depending on the country of origin and possible customs clearance in Ireland.

2) Shipping Model: DAP/DDU (Delivered At Place – Duties Unpaid)

Some parcels are shipped from outside the EU under the DAP/DDU Incoterm. This means:

  • We do not charge Irish VAT or customs duties at checkout.

  • Any import-related fees (VAT/duty/handling charges) are payable by the customer upon delivery.

  • Your local carrier (e.g. An Post, DPD Ireland) will inform you if additional fees apply before releasing the parcel.

  • By placing an order, you accept the role of the importer of your shipment.

3) Shipping Costs

✅ Free Standard Shipping on all orders (no minimum spend).

❗ Import charges (VAT/customs) are not included in the product price and are not collected on our website. They will be settled separately with the carrier/customs once the parcel arrives in Ireland.

4) Order Stages

  1. Select your product and click “Add to Cart.”

  2. Go to checkout, enter your details, and confirm your shipping address.

  3. Choose a secure payment method (credit/debit card via Shopify Payments).

  4. Confirm your order.

  5. You will receive a confirmation email, followed by a Track & Trace link once your order has been dispatched.

5) Consolidated Shipping & Environmental Responsibility

To reduce our carbon footprint and keep prices fair, some orders may be shipped in bulk once a minimum parcel threshold is reached. This may add a few days to delivery but significantly reduces environmental and logistical costs.

6) Important Import Information

  • We do not charge VAT at checkout.

  • The exact amount of duties/VAT depends on current Irish regulations.

  • Fees must be settled with the carrier before receiving your parcel.

  • ⚠️ Refusal to pay import charges will result in the parcel being returned to sender. In such cases, return/refund amounts may be reduced to cover handling and transport costs.
